Arts Alley Renovations

Description

Site improvements between Art Building & Museum, Marroney Theatre, Tornabene Theatre, extending to Olive Road. The project will improve circulation, visibility and wayfinding to/from Olive Road and the various Fine Arts facilities, and further strengthen the programmatic connection between interior and exterior uses throughout the area.

Status

The plaza and oasis between the School of Art, Museum of Art, Marroney Theatre, and the Fox School of Music are in progress. The monumental stairs up from Olive Road to the Plaza are completed. Respective lighting, retaining walls, steel feature panels, handrails, landscaping, and drainage structures are complete. The steel for the shade structure outside Gross Gallery is complete. Construction of Green Wall on exterior east wall of Gross Gallery is in progress.
